Animal Paintings by Spencer Williams

I am uncertain what I feel about this painting. I believe I like it but perhaps there is something about the grizzlies that gives me a feeling of tension. I feel like there will be a dispute over the fish. Aside from the moment in time represented by the bears I would like to walk that shoreline. Maybe that is one of the things that is unsettling for me, I think the background is at least as interesting as the foreground and therefore competes for my attention.
